Steve Dalton is the founder, president, chief mathematician, webmaster, and sole employee of Nude Math. He has been teaching math for most of his life, ever since homeschooling himself in rural Rhode Island. Stevie moved to a suburb of Boston in 2009 where he got a job on a fishing boat. The other crew members said they had never seen someone so good at counting the fish, and so Stevie Dalton's fate was set in motion.

Stevie believes that every single person can understand mathematics, and that the only thing standing between most people and the beauty of numbers is a thick layer of unnecessary "clothing": intimidating symbols, boring textbooks, and little respect for imagination. Nude Math removes that layer.
